Refund Policy

Returns

3D Printer Supplier will accept returns of any item (accessory, kit or assembled 3D Printers) within 30 days of the date of delivery providing your item must be in the same condition when the product was received. After this 30-day period, your purchase is final and no returns will be accepted. Shipping charges on the initial purchase are non-refundable.

3D Printing Supplier reserves the right to refuse a refund if you have simply changed your mind.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

(a)                A product or good has a major failure when:

(b)                it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it;

(c)                 it is significantly different from the sample or description;

(d)                it is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time;

(e)                it doesn’t do what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed

Importantly, the rights described in this policy are in addition to the statutory rights to which you may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable Australian consumer protection laws and regulations.

Please note there may be limitations on your right to return and obtain a refund for products, however, these limits will always be subject to your statutory rights.

You may return any goods purchased with us only on the basis of faulty product, parts or workmanship within the manufacturer’s warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to inspect and determine the extent of such defects and rectify them if deemed defective.

Refunds will not be available in any other circumstances including change of mind or the incorrect item being ordered.

 

To complete your return

We require a receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and the refund will be applied to your original payment method within 14 days. If you haven’t received a refund within the 14 days please first check the account from which the initial payment was made. Then contact the company of which you made the payment with, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at admin@3dpsa.com.au

A shipping return address will be provided to you once it has been agreed that the product will be returned. You will be responsible for paying for all return shipping costs for the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable (including initial shipping to you). All returns must include trackable shipping and shipping insurance. Without a trackable service, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and therefore cannot guarantee you will receive a refund.

Sales Order Policy

3D Printer Supplier is the supplier of 3D printers and consumables representing the current state of 3D printing technology in Australia and in other countries. 3D printers and consumables are sourced and tested by 3D Printer Supplier and are fit for purpose given available 3D printing technologies, their capabilities at the time, and their intended purpose. Customers of 3D Printer Supplier understand that the results rendered by 3D printers and their consumables may vary according to the particular printer model, the brand and type of consumable materials used and printer settings and configurations provided by the user. It is the customer’s responsibility to assess and select the appropriate products for their intended application. 3D Printer Supplier is available to assist their customers in the selection of the appropriate products. 3D Printer Supplier provides support to its customers for printers and consumables offered by our store and can only use best efforts in support when customers select printers and consumables other than those offered by 3D Printer Supplier.

3D Printer Supplier contains hardware items covered under warranty expressed elsewhere in these terms and conditions. Some items however are subject to wear and tear where their life span and performance are governed by usage patterns and maintenance performed by the user. Such items once delivered in a new and serviceable condition are considered consumables and are not covered under warranty unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Examples of these components include belts, nozzles, LCD screens, LED arrays and the like. Warranty does not cover conditions resulting from consumer mishandling such as improper maintenance or misuse, abuse, accident, or alteration.

3D Printer Supplier offers a large selection of printers suited best to various applications. Our printer range includes machines intended for hobby and enthusiast through to industrial applications. 3D Printer Supplier is available to assist its customers in their selection of appropriate products however, it is the customer’s ultimate responsibility to ensure they have selected products targeted to their application and skills.

Warranty

The 3D printers sold by 3D Printer Supplier have a 12 months manufacturer’s Express Warranty. Like any electromechanical device, these products require regular maintenance to ensure they perform as expected and suffer minimum failures. 3D Printer Supplier has an extensive range of printers targeting hobby and personal use through to professional prototyping and manufacturing applications. If you are unsure about selecting the correct printer for your application, please contact our staff to ensure our products are suitable for your intended use. Use of these products for periods in excess of 400 hours per year requires more regular maintenance and the possible replacement of wear components such as belts, motors, bearings, hotels and nozzles. Regular maintenance should also include fastener and belt-tightening as well as general printer alignment as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Warranty may not be provided if it is evident that the necessary maintenance has not been carried out. Issues such as user error, incorrect software configuration, the use of inferior resin or filament products and resin spillage may affect our ability to provide warranty replacements of printers or printer parts. Components such as nozzles, nozzle/hotend assemblies (Nozzle Kits), filament and resin build plates, printer bed (Glass, Alloy, PEI, ETC), bed thermistor, heater pad, PTFE tubing, FEP film, silicone socks and LCD exposure screens may only have a limited 3-month warranty and are subsequently considered consumables. Heat Bed for FDM has only a limited 5 months warranty.

Returns and Repairs

You may return goods we have delivered to you in person at our warehouse or by sending it back via Courier or Mail, with tracking contact

If any goods cannot be easily returned to us, due to their size, the fault, please contact our Support Team, by contacting OUR TEAM and we will arrange to assess the goods remotely.

Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an approx. repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

If any goods that you return can retain user-generated data such as files stored on a drive, the replacement or repair of the goods may result in loss of the data. In these circumstances, we recommend you back up data to prevent data loss and remove sensitive or confidential data, as a party assessing and/or repairing your goods may be required to view data in the course of carrying out the assessment. We will not be responsible for any data loss.

In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
